Cobden District Public School (CDPS) is a proud part of the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) located right in the heart of Cobden. It is a K-8 Dual Track school and proudly serves a wide-reaching regional community, supporting approximately 400 students with a dedicated staff of 45 members. Our students come from Cobden, Osceola, Douglas, Forester’s Falls, Beachburg, and Haley Station, and many of our parents are also proud alumni! This wide geographic scope is part of a rich tradition, as 2026 marks the incredible milestone of Whitewater Region’s 25th anniversary.
CDPS is dedicated to fostering a safe, caring, and respectful learning environment where every student can achieve success. We focus on providing outstanding educational experiences that equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to be responsible and successful citizens in the 21st century while still being dedicated to ensure that core educational fundamentals are taught and learned.
